Oakley 2016 Olympics Campaign Green Fade Campaign
Oakley created the Green Fade PRIZM collection for the 2016 Olympics. We were tasked to find a way to feature the PRIZM technology while honoring the olympic traditions of athletes and their country. Our team came up with a simple solution. “The flag” After every event, no matter what the discipline, the winning athlete celebrates by grabbing their nation's flag and wrapping themselves while waving to the crowd as they take a victory lap. We just follow our sponsored athletes and when they won, we feature them in their Oakley eyewear and their nation’s flag. And if and when possible, feature other athletes that just happen to be wearing Oakleys too. It was successful to say the least. The campaign just naturally merged with the olympic spirit of patriotic celebration. Our social team took the lead and just started featuring every athlete celebrating with their flag. This is the definition of what an organic integrated campaign should be.
